This is the second in a series of biannual reports measuring and comparing well-being across OECD countries. It examines quality of life and living conditions, using indicators in the areas of: income and wealth, jobs and earnings, housing conditions, health status, work-life balance, education and skills, social connections, civic engagement and governance, environmental quality, personal security, and subjective well-being. This 2013 report also looks at the impact of the global financial crisis, gender differences in well-being, well-being in the workplace, and sustaining well-being over time.
