There is increasing interest in the extent to which existing nontariff barriers (NTBs) may distort and restrict international trade. Measurement of Nontariff Barriers assesses currently available methods for quantifying the size and impact of existing NTBs and makes recommendations on those methods of measurement that countries and individual researchers can use most effectively.
